Show that you’re the expert and make the couple feel confident in your skills. I didn’t birth my business and start assuming the sale the next day. Right? Like it does take practice! It is a mindset shift. There are hundreds of people they could have chosen from on social media. Own that.
Understand the couple’s specific pain points and you have to show them how your services WILL solve their problems.
Establish that connection with the couple and make them feel so comfortable working with you. If you’ve posed yourself as the expert and if you’ve gotten them to know, like, and trust you, the end of the consult should be you talking about how excited you are for their wedding, how epic it is going to be and you can’t wait to get started!
Instead of ending the call with a promise to send a proposal, assume the sale and offer to send the contract right away. 90% of the call I’m talking about their life, what they do on the weekends, or their dogs, or their family, or their family dynamics, or the aunt that needs to be controlled during the day, right? I already am assuming I’m going to be their planner so that when they say things like my aunt Sue is nuts.
2024 could be the year that changes everything for your business IF you have the tools and resources to take advantage of the boom.
1. A marketing plan that actually drives followers through your sales funnel to become paying clients.
