How Will You Be Remembered?

As most of the country moves into phase 1 of re-opening from the COVID pandemic, all of the anxiety and overwhelm of not knowing what the next weeks and months look like are rising back to the surface.

After 6 weeks of “sheltering in place”, most of us were beginning to find a new normal. And while I am SO thrilled to begin the journey back to normalcy, this messy middle of the phased opening leaves so many questions to be answered.

What activities exactly are included in phase 1?

When does phase 2 begin?

How soon will life return to pre-COVID?  Or will it ever?

In an effort to calm my anxious thoughts, I have turned my focus to how I want to be remembered during this time.

Did we react to situations with empathy? 

Did we make business decisions or decisions based on principle? 

Did I support and encourage my fellow vendors riding this storm with me? 

Did I take full advantage of this less hectic schedule with my family?

I’m excited for this episode as we look back at the last 6 weeks and look forward to the next several months of reopening our businesses after the most historic time in our World’s history!
