Meet Susan Southerland, Creator of Cashing In On Corporate Clients

Susan is a business consultant, author, speaker, and multi-company founder who helps wedding pros add corporate events to their offerings, filling off-season gaps with big-budget projects. 

She’s the president of Just Events! Group, Inc., a full-service event planning company she founded in 1992 and later expanded with her husband in 2011. She oversees more than $7 million annually in revenue, manages 25 full-time employees (plus 200 on-call employees), and has worked in more than 24 countries. Just Events! Group, Inc. earned an Inc. 5000 designation, and has supported clients during F1, Super Bowl, LPGA, NBA All-Star Weekend, as well as Presidential visits and other major public figure appearances. Other clients include Fortune 100, Fortune 500, and major pharmaceutical companies. 

She’s a renowned speaker, author, business coach, and TV personality, and has been named one of Destination Weddings and Honeymoons Magazine’s A-List Planners. 

Of all her accomplishments, Susan is proudest of growing a family-friendly business with employees who genuinely care about their clients and each other. When she isn’t immersed in the business, she loves traveling and having adventures with her husband and four children.
