“Most wedding pros are so vanilla. But what people are really looking for is rocky road, mint chocolate chip. How are you unique?”
Instead of saying:
🚫 “We help you plan flawless details.”
🚫 “We capture your love story on film.”
Try something like this:
✅ “We offer stress-free planning for discerning couples that actually stays on budget—without the nightmare of doing it all alone.”
See the difference? This tells potential clients exactly what you do and why you’re the perfect fit for them.
If you’re not creating short-form content, you’re leaving money on the table. Wedding pros love to hide behind the camera, posting pretty pictures and hoping that’ll be enough. Spoiler alert: It’s not.

If I had to start over today, I’d post 3-5 short-form videos every single week on Instagram and TikTok. No excuses. And yes, that means putting your face on camera!
And before you panic—batch your content! Take one day a week, record a few short clips, and schedule them out. That’s it. Done.
“Just sit down, talk to the camera, and pretend your ideal client is right behind the lens. Solve a problem, and they’ll start coming to you.”
If I had to start over today, I’d track every single inquiry, consult, and booking. Why? Because if you don’t know what’s working (or what’s broken), you can’t fix it.
“Without sales, you don’t have a business. So becoming obsessive about your sales funnel is a reality, whether you’re just starting out or 17 years in.”
✅ How many inquiries are coming in?
✅ How many of those inquiries book a consult?
✅ How many consults convert into paying clients?
✅ Where are the leads coming from?
This data will tell you exactly where to focus your energy. If you’re getting tons of leads but no bookings, maybe your pricing is off. If you’re not getting inquiries, your marketing might need tweaking.
“If you’re posting 3-5 times a week, are you getting more leads? If you’re networking with venues, are you getting referrals? Track it, adjust, and scale.”
