Ready to Transform Your Financial Stress into Profit?

We all know how much I love talking about budgets and spending plans right? Well, if you don’t, you’re about to find out because that’s exactly what were talking about today! We’re talking about a spending plan that can literally save you thousands!

And dare I say, even help you to increase your wedding business revenue!!

So let’s break it down into 5 easy to implement steps!

Step #1: Gather All Your Expenses

This step is really really simple, but it does take you a little bit of time! To gather all your expenses you want to go through all of your credit card statements and your checking account, and I want you to look for absolutely everything that you spent in this calendar year! I want you to document all of it!

This is also a great exercise to see what things you’re being charged for every single month because I don’t know about you, but sometimes those really small subscriptions can get lost in all the sauce. So doing this exercise of gathering all of those expenses from your credit card statements and from your
bank account are going to help you to also see what you’re still being charged for that you don’t really need anymore.

Step #2: Sales History

Collect all of your sales history for the last three years or as long as you’ve been in business. The sales history means the value of the product or package that you sold. In this section, we are talking about the value of the product or service that you sold! Tracking your sales history is such an important piece of
doing your spending plan because when you start to see that history year over year, you’re going to see that there’s a trend! There are going to be months with high sales and ones with pretty low sales

This is going to help you in forecasting your budget for future years.

Step #3: Gather The Data On How Much Cash Hits Your Bank Every Month

If you have a bookkeeper ask them to send you how much cash went in the bank every single month and if you don’t you can pull it from your bank statement or you can pull it from your PNL.

Follow along on the podcast as I explain exactly how to do this part on my budget planner!

Step #4: Forecast How Much We Think We’re Going to Make Next Year

The way that we do that is really simple:

  • The first thing we’re going to do is we’re going to consider, do we have any additional staff coming on next year?
  • You also want to think about, did you raise your prices?
  • The last thing you want to think about is how much money is already on the books from weddings that you booked this year?

It’s time for you to just take control! Your goals are SO attainable now because you have the data to support them!
